My Story
Hi, I’m Jody.
A lifestyle blogger, health & wellness advocate, and Oliveda Waterless Beauty Consultant passionate about helping others glow from the inside out through clean beauty, holistic wellness, and intentional living.
I’m also a true island girl at heart and deeply committed to doing the best I can for myself, my family, and my community. I believe wellness starts with education, self-awareness, and feeling empowered to make choices that align with your values and overall well-being.
Through my blog content, wellness inspiration, and waterless beauty products, I love helping others discover cleaner, more conscious alternatives that support healthy skin and a healthier lifestyle. My goal is to inspire people to become more mindful about what they put on their bodies, how they care for themselves, and the impact those choices have on long-term wellness.
I believe beauty should feel intentional, nourishing, and rooted in nature — and that true confidence starts from within.
How did I get here?
I grew up as the youngest of four girls on the shores of Prince Edward Island, Canada. And for as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with fashion, style, and all things beauty. We were also a very active household and my passion for fitness was sparked by my sisters’ enthusiasm. I’m very lucky to have such intelligent, fit, beautiful women as role models.
In my early 20s, I met the love of my life (in an Economics class at Acadia University, of all places!) and went on to complete my MBA at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We then moved to another island on the west coast and settled in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, to be closer to my husband’s family.
Here, we feel like we have the best of both worlds: We get to see the water AND the mountains every day. How cool is that? We’re also surrounded by an incredible community of wonderful, health-conscious people that believe in making a positive difference every day.
My Journey Into Waterless Beauty
Thankfully, I was introduced to Oliveda Waterless Beauty, a revolutionary skincare company focused on clean, waterless beauty powered by the healing properties of the olive tree. Their mission is centered around creating highly concentrated, plant-based products that support both healthy skin and a healthier planet.
What immediately drew me in was their commitment to sustainability, wellness, and ingredient integrity. Instead of filling products with unnecessary water and fillers, Oliveda uses powerful olive leaf elixirs and antioxidants designed to nourish the skin naturally and effectively.
I was not only impressed by the philosophy behind the brand, but also relieved to discover skincare that delivers luxurious results while aligning with my personal values.
Today, I feel confident knowing I’m using clean, botanical skincare products for myself, my family, and the people I care about most. I love being connected with a company that believes beauty should be intentional, holistic, and rooted in wellness from the inside out.
